The school hosts a variety of programmes throughout the year. The main event is the Christmas programme, which is a show put up by the children with the help of their teachers on a particular theme. The preparations start a month before and children display moral values in the form of plays, songs and dance. Some of the other celebrations in the school include Teachers’ Day, Independence Day, Republic Day and Sports Day.
The school believes in giving an opportunity for every child to display their talents. The teachers help the students perform to the best of their abilities. They are also the ones who brainstorm ideas, prepare backdrops, write scripts and choose songs and dances. Students are also given an opportunity to help the teachers behind the scenes. This helps them understand that a programme’s success is not only in the performance but also in working together as a team, taking responsibility and in hard work. Through these programmes, children learn the significance of the days that we celebrate.
